Brow Lift

Brow Lift Surgery Spokane and Tri Cities, WA

A Brow Lift surgery rejuvenates the upper one-third of the face and may be done in combination with a Facelift and/or Blepharoplasty surgery to achieve the most satisfying results.  A Brow (Forehead) lift corrects sagging in the skin of the forehead, upper eyelids, and eyebrows.

Will a brow lift give me a surprised look?

When done correctly, elevating the brows does not generate a surprised look. You will just look more refreshed and relaxed.

Can I achieve the effects of a brow lift by using Botox?

Botox can be used to relax the muscles that keep the brows low, allowing them to rise. This effect is mild, and a surgical brow lift is much more effective at raising the brows. Also, the effects of Botox last only a few months, whereas the effects of Brow Lift surgery are much longer lasting.

Two Types of Brow Lifts

There are multiple methods to lift your forehead and eyebrow areas.  Two of the most common are:

The classic lift involves one continuous cut beginning at the level of your ears and going up around your hairline.  Your cosmetic surgeon will work with you to determine the exact location of your incision, to help lessen a visible scar.

For the endoscopic lift, the surgeon makes a few shorter incisions in your scalp. He will insert a scope — a small camera on the end of a thin tube — into one of the incisions and use other devices inserted in the other incisions to perform the lift.

In the endoscopic lift, the surgeon uses small anchors to secure the tissue. Because the incisions are smaller, this procedure is less invasive than the classic lift. You will have minimal scarring and a shorter recovery time.
